If there were an award for “Having Nothing To Apologize For,” you would win it.
You have passion and vision; you see something that is not, yet should be, and you step toward making it happen. That puts you at the higher end of the Great Bell Curve of People; my personal, anecdotal experiences suggest the vast majority are comfortable to remain simple complainers and consumers.
You just have to pair that passion and vision with discipline and all the “tools,” real or virtual, to make it happen. You’re already in school, so you’re already making progress in both of those, as far as I’m concerned.
