I suppose if you have a crippled finger, and can't click faster than the knife can attack in speed attack, yeah - though I could see where that'd result in a crippled finger, after awhile... Granted, combined with a swiftblade potion, then yes, you're getting into unclickable territory. You can, however, turn the feature off, or toggle as needed.

Maybe I'll add an autocharge toggle to the player menu.

Could you make potions/torch/non-weapon items not trigger the dual wield penalty?

Uh, now i gotta release a bit of a rage, my lvl 27 blunt-mage with 293 is really good as support and as dmgdealer but:

Doing a The_Keep Run with being the highest at the dmg pts and having no chance to get qualified for an arti because the min limit is 300 is fine.. (I don't really care about that)

Then doing a Lodagond Run and coming in Second at Lodagond-4 and getting only a Leadfoot as rarest item in there is a bit bulls*ht..

So my Blunt-Mage has no chance of getting good loot?

Why do you want more loot that you already have?

And why are you doing the_keep if you are that leet of a player? You should be doing other maps, the_keep is for newbies who recently began to get into the ms:c world of madness and hax. :roll:

If you decided to run through Half-Life using nothing but your crowbar and pistol - would you complain to the developers that the game is too hard?

What I believe rideon is trying to say is that even though his specialist character manages to get first or second place with the damage points, he still gets crappy loot, and he thinks it's because his character has low hp and not because of random being a cruel mistress.

also playing with crowbar and pistol, that's silly, would you even have enough ammo to do the nihilanth and the big mamma?

Anyways the problem is true if you deside to play like that. my level 23 mage cant even enter the slithar cave at bloodrose becouse of the low hp. but got no problem killing everything. And about the artifacts yes it's true, most of the items got a hp limit regardless if your leading in damage points or not.
Could change the hp limit into a lvl limit. takes your highest level skill instead of your hp. anyways this is a minor problem since most people learn to level everything anyways or got another char that can twink your alt.

Not sure if this is new or exploitative or not, but while messing around on IoD1 I managed to drop my active rejuvenation spell onto the ground, then pick it back up a few seconds later. It had no world model. I have yet to be able to replicate this, but I remember exactly what I was doing when I managed it. I also have a screenshot.

Well, all the items in that chest have the same hp limit, so this would have been a case of random being a cruel mistress... But if you choose to tie one hand behind your back, and get your ass kicked, either by the monsters or by the treasure picker, don't come crying to us about it. ;)

Yesterday rideon, me and a bunch of other guys did phobia and he outdamaged everyone with his insane spellcasting.
I was 2nd place behind, he got a PoP and I got a switftblade potion and a GPoP.

I can understand him as this went on for the next 4 runs, he always ended up with "low" loot. If this is random, then random's a bitch :D

There's no HP limit at all on that chest, although the two newest unique items there are reserved for the player with the most damage points, and all the items require top 75%, aside from random ammo and heal/mana pots. PoP and GPoP are on the generic epic list, so yeah, random is a bitch.

Wait... what? I'm confused. I've seen some people in 2nd place (and possibly 3rd place) in damage points getting scrolls and staves, while the one in first place gets novablades or nothing at all. It's not so frequent but it happens, the first staff drop i saw, the player 2nd in damage points got it, not me (which i was first with a good difference from first to 2nd place).

Samething happens with the xp rewards, but this is just plain broken. It's like the damn bandits hate me all the time and like to reward the people who don't do sh*t. I've lost countless xp rewards already from Phobia so i avoid playing the map at all costs, could have leveled up blunt and smallarms by now if it wasn't 99% broken. :evil:

Exactly, I'm mostly having more than the double of their damage points while getting nothing at all or rather lets say, GPoP being the only worthy item in there, and it's being the only item, atleast i got luck with the bandits, that i always get my blunt exp :D

Zeus the bandits aint broken. they just happend to give the xp to the first player asking them.

steam crossbow sure aint on the epic loot list. droped to 6th player in damage points with only 2k and 217 hp
while i had 200+k damage points and 1100hp. got just crap.
randon is cruel.

Haka, you're wrong, yesterday me (mage),some other dudes and freerad were doing phobia, me being first obv but free dealt enough dmg to get it but somehow couldn't get the blunt dudes exp, after that i went to him and got the exp. so they are bugged o_O

Going to have to spoiler the sh*t out of this to make it clear but... There are two new unique items on the chest (ds/bear), and two older semi-unique (sbp,nova). The older do not require that you have the highest damage points - they can go to anyone in the top 75% - though only once per run. The odds for each goes up in combine with more players (nplayers[-1]*nplayers[-1] vs. a random between 1 and 60 for the older, and 1 and 110 for the newer). But HP doesn't come into it.

Don't blame us! I tried doing 1 run but the shaman got killed and i completly forgot about the other orcs outside... :oops:
Pretty much bored of that map already and i can't stand it (mostly because of the pit area).

EDIT: So i was checking out this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9120&p=141539#p141539 and thought it would be a good idea to make a separate thread with all the changelogs from each patch and lock the thread so it doesn't get useless posts. This would help people quite a bit on getting up to date with what they have missed for being away.
What do you think?

Well, it's that time of the month again... And like a teenage girl, I must rage at the lack of patch.

Meh, between the dying folks and the girl who should be in jail, and her crazy folks, I've just had no time. All I really need to do is finish one boss and stick in some voice files, but that's been pretty much the case for three weeks now. Blarg. Just have had hardly any quality internet time... And damn Steam's off-line mode fails after reboot, until you can legitimately log on again, so... Yeah, blarg.

Wish I could blame someone else around here, but alas, it's all on me. :oldcry:

Pretty bad when the best bet to get your mod on the rails again involves either death or jail time.

As you can see by yonder changelog, there's just so many entries that it'd take an eternity to stick em all into separate posts. Best bet would be to get them all into one thread, in order of appearance, and just keep tacking them on from there. Not undoable, but certainly time consuming.
