Two handed axe has a shorter range, acctually.

the spider cave in the thornlandsfor some reason still can't get spider boss to spawn so I can't complete quest =\

sorry Double post but in the lands of daragoth this is kind of retarted but right when you spawn next to the tree when you run forward theres like an invisable staircase that leads to no where =P

and theres another minor bug where you can only sell one thing at a time you can selecet as many things as you want to sell but it will only sell one of the items

Don't let the spiders lunge at you and suck on your face like the enjoy doing, if one does that the next wave won't spawn. Often, that happens on the third wave (mixed large and small spiders) because it's a little more difficult to kill them quickly enough. The spider boss comes right after that wave.

actuly they wont spawn at all as soon as I break all the cacoon things the exit breaks and nothing happens and i have to remake my lan game

This is an error I keep getting on map changes, mainly when I use hlsw to change the map, but often during normal map transitions. I think it may be a serverdoc issue, as I've been using it to keep my server up, and when not running it, i didn't have any errors, could be coincidence too though, not sure. Going to try a new server restarter program and I'll report back.

It's not a server doc issue. I get that too (even with the batch file - posted somewhere). Map transitions actually crash more often than they did in MS 1.35. :\ (which is why I have the dreaded _begins.)

I'll like to double that bug? I use another server restarter called serverchecker and i get the same error on map transit. However it seems that the only maps with no errors are edana to thorns and thorns to sfor? This errors must be pressed manually or the server will not transit...which is annoying cos i'm not there all the time

Ive made a million servers before but now ms randomly crashes at "parsing server info"

edit: nvm I forgot to download SC in the patches thing.

There's only one cacoon that you need to break. As soon as you fall down into the water, there are three cacoons. You do NOT need to break those to do the spider boss thing, I'm thinking you may not be doing the correct thing to get the spider boss "quest" going.

Iselore, I get the error even transitioning to Thornlands from Edana sadly. I'm using Thothie's beta restarter right now, works alot better, but i'm still getting some errors, i think it's more from memory leaks than anything now though. Still some transition errors, but most my errors have happened from the server just running randomly......Don't know why, just got the latest sc.dll, and will see if it still happens.

BTW props and thanks Thothie, that program rocks!

BUG: ed_alloc: no free edicts! crash to desktop
CAUSE: Carrying too many items, most commonly potions/apples/whatever
SOLUTION: happens mostly on thornlands, but maybe others (haven't been able to get past it for obvious reasons), go to the last map your character wass on, or edana and drop enough items then try again, i'm guessing my character was carrying far more than what was supposed to be the limit for a single small sack... seems to happen on edana randomly as well, but i kinda bought alot of potions...

edit: my character is beyond FUBAR'ed... sorry kuroneko, but i crashed your server trying to select him :oldcry:

13 small arms, 11 axe handling, 6 lightning and fire magic, 6 archery, and 5 in all other skills... around 149 hp and 50 mana... all that is gone now - i'd gladly remove all the items on the char to make it playable again, my suggestion is to buy the more expensive potions and less of them instead of normal ones and twice as many... rejuvinators seem to work good and give more than twice what a health potion would, at twice the cost, and i have ONCE seen a reviver on the potion vendor in edana, it gave me i think around 65 hp

you know what... i'm gonna make a map that is an extremely small box, or ripent edana or something so that ALL the ents are removed except the spawns, just to see if my char will load... if not then i screwed it up and all that work was for nothing (i had like 1200 gold + the skills mentioned above, and plate armor... not that it's exceptionally good, but still)

edit: and the revivers i've only seen once out of all the times i've been there... very odd, are you sure you're not thinking of rejuvinators? they're almost always there

and removing all entities but the spawns in edana worked and saved my character, thank you ripent.exe!

all i can say is thank GOD this was a client save and not on the central server... now that i know that the game obviously has limits on the items you can carry, i'll be sure and not carry anything less than rejuvinators from now on, and no more than 15 of them at a time

is this a bug or what. me and my bro play on lan and he gots knights armor but every time we go travel to a different place i can't see what he is wearing besides his weapon? can u fix it? the only way i can see it, is he has to put on his stuff in front of me to see it evert time.

Raptor, the potion vendor in edana commonly has 30 rejuvinators and 2 or 3 revivers when I go there. Are you sure you're not just buying potions from the old man in the cabin?

Is there something wrong with the bandits? I am level 7 with fire, and I killed a boar, it went from 0% trained to 4% trained, killed another one, and it went to 8%. Ok, so I went to keledrosprelude, killed two bandits with fire dart, and it stayed at 8%. I then went to thornlands and killed a boar, and it went up to 12%. I had also noticed that my blunt arms weren't leveling at the bandits, until I killed bears. Do bandits not give any experience at the moment?

Are you using the latest sc.dll version?
