Yay for the patch I can go to the Daragoth Plains now. Although I don't think Derilia works though. It might be just me, so I'm double-checking.

I seem to have a problem, here's the situation:

- I've downloaded and installed 1.01 dev
- I'm using the fix using sv_lan 1 in all the config files.
- My char is a client char at Edana->Thornlands
- I'm running a server with ms_serverchars 0 (i.e. client-side)

Once I start the server on Edana or Thornlands, my char shows up. I click it to upload it. Once it finishes, the char slot goes black. I try to click the black char slot to no avail. This happens on either Edana or Thornlands. Also, once I try restarting the server while still ingame, I get the greyed out character selection problem.

This happened before I installed 1.01, so its not related to changes in 1.01.

Anyone know of a solution or what has happened atleast?

Try doing a 'changelevel' command in the console when you've got the game already running instead.

I just encountered a very strange bug...

Summary: Pressing 'inventory' key will upload and select 2nd client char, regardless of whether its greyed out or not.

Detail:
- I'm running 1.01
- I'm running a server with ms_serverchars 0 (i.e. client-side)

OK, I load up Thornlands (I presume any map will work for this, haven't tested it yet) running client characters. None of my chars are at the Thornlands, thus they are greyed out. I press 3 on my keyboard (bound to the default 'inventory') and it begins uploading a character. Then I press 3 once its uploaded it, it selects the character and I enter the game--BUT, it places me at what I assume to be position (0,0,0) in the map.

Solution:
Avoid doing this!

Edit: As it turns out, default keys 2, 3, and 4 seem to map to character slots 1, 2, and 3. This means that, since this bug allows selecting greyed out characters, you may use this bug as a solution to the greyed out character bug! BUT, since you only spawn at (0, 0, 0), good luck on getting into the map!

Another note: Pressing 2, 3, or 4 while uploading a character will stop the upload, thus you'll have to restart/reconnect to use the character as the server will only have a piece of your character file.

I had a strange glitch where every non-blue item dissappeared from my small sack, including my 4 hugger daggers (1 of each quality ). Reloading the character did not work and there were no error messages. I dont have many details, but can anyone else confirm this as a bug?

Ive had timidus texter spawn in the spider cave in thornlands by the virus consputos.

Sometimes it takes a really long time to change maps, how long do you wait?

The .rar file doesn't work, it says it has a corrupt or unexpected end of archive, and some of the files inside won't unzip.

Rebuilt and reuploaded the rar. If this one doesn't work, then the problem is most likely on your end.

longsword graphical bug. when attacking it sometimes does the block animation although it still attacks and nothing is blocked.

i think fps animation is clientside? if so then the patch wouldnt effect it but yes i was playing on a patched server

It still has unexpected end of archive. The only file that seems to go poof, is the Troll. By the way it's not his end. Me, skilla and him now all have the problem.


It is still extractable however.

i had the same problem. the troll was corrupt. but i re-downloaded it and it was fine....
