I appreciate being alerted to the fact that Azaria is a 14 year old and all, not that it much matters to me, as Iâm fairly kind to the chix0rz regardless of age â although Iâm not holding back on any swearing directed at the world in general on her behalf, point is however, it is the wrong approach to resolve the problem.
Only a tiny fraction of MSC players hit the forums, and those most likely to treat Azaria badly, are the ones closest to her own age. Her parentâs effectively gave her a ticket to the Jr. High boys locker room. Sheâll either learn to deal with that, or stop playing. No need to come in here and yell at kids with names as suggestive as âBananasteakâ for making lewd comments in her presence.
Now if we wind up with some 20-some stalker perv trying to lure her across state lines, or some such, thatâs another issue entirely, although in advanced to that, Iâd like to say to her parents, âI told ya so.â, now, cuz I wonât have the heart to say it afterwards.

I think we've all learned that the contents inside the internet are a lot less likely to be controlled from the inside. Sure, we got admins and mods, and sometimes we even get e-gestapo roaming about, but that's not too common (especially e-gestapo).
Thing is, gender is so blurred on the internet, especially if you don't actually know the person. Someone from an opposite gender would literally have to reveal themselves to their peers (which most won't ever try for fear of being scrutinized or harassed by opposite genders in an especially male dominant setting).
Age, on the other hand, is clearer, though it is still blurred. (i.e. Idiots and losers are always stereotyped as being 13, even though they might just really be immature 20 year olds)
You can't tell someone how to act on the internet. You can try and suppress them, but you can't tell someone to act differently. Morality is dropped once someone enters the internet. It is a place where one can throw all their thoughts into and not be vilified, because online, the consequences of their actions and thoughts aren't as high as if it was in the real world.
