First time I've ever noticed this too! So if Valor is the oldest guild, what's the second oldest? Since I am assuming that whatever Guild came after Valor (officially) was probably a nemesis guild to them...

What did I update?
- I noted that tons of guilds are dead
- Including the FMU and the PoE, but they merged together to form tPoD (I also noted that in the description)
- The Pirates of Dreadwind guild information (please read, Blasto121 and Jhaxavier)

- Dark Brotherhood guild information (please read, Tirex)
- Dragon Heart guild information, assuming the guild is still alive (please read, charcolishen)

Well to be honest I'm still updating, so no problem
Give me a few seconds and it'll be done.

I found the Dragon Heart guild and the Order of Muchahadeen guild after I updated the post with info on tPoD, GoW and DB, so then I had to update it again.

I just updated it with two guilds I am not going to add (extraordinary reasons):
- Holy Crusade
- Undamael's Warriors
For information as to why I didn't list them, check the very bottom of my post on the first page.

Edit: Done. Now I'm going to continue looking for guilds I might have missed

There are still alot of people who confuse guilds or don't know what some guilds stand for. I am making this topic to clarify and I will do so to the best of my knowledge. I've been around MS for three years, maybe four, so I probably know things about guilds that most others don't know. If I make a mistake in a guild's description feel free to tell me what I did wrong. If guild info is missing, also tell me and I'll update the info. If I forgot a guild please tell me to add it to the list. Guilds are listed in alphabetical order.

-This guild is an Order-following guild. However, this died a while ago.

-This guild enforces balance. The Blades do not pick sides unless one force, Chaos or Order, grows too mighty. Urdual is the God of Balance, and since the Blades enforce balance the guild is named after him.

Christian Warriors of God
-This guild protects the oppressed (if they are innocent) and all that is good, holy and pure. The Christian Warriors of God fight and destroy all evil in the world. The Christian Warriors follow God, their true King. This guild is pretty much dead right now.

Commonwealth of the High Seas
-This is a pirate guild with plundering and murdering as its main goal. These pirates do not worship a divinity, they just enforce Chaos. This guild is dead.

Dark Brotherhood
-This is a guild of assassins, thieves and other shady figures. The guild also has a ranking system.

Dark Elves of Torkalath
-The Dark Elves of Torkalath follow the God of Chaos, Torkalath. They are devoted to the ways of Chaos. This is a dead guild.

-The Dark Legion is (quite obviously) a Chaos-following guild. However, nothing else is known. Dead guild.

DarkTide
-This guild is also devoted to the ways of Chaos, but I'm unsure if they actually worship Torkalath. To join the guild you must be very strong (level twenty or higher) and also active. This guild is still a little bit active.

-This is a neutral guild that worships dragons (or at least as far as I can tell from their guild topic). But I think the guild is dead.

-The RiP guild does not recruit. People who may join the guild are selected in-game. You must be level fifteen at least if you want to be able to join. The guild is neutral and currently has two leaders. A few members of this guild are still active.

-This is a clan of honor and pride. The samurais and ninjas specialize in skill and stealth and they fight for justice and grace. They help the ill-fallen and kill the ill-trotting. This guild is dead.

-Members of the Seiryoku guild are followers of Order. They like to help other people in the world of Daragoth in any way they can. However, since Belmont, the guild leader, joined the Blades of Urdual, this guild is dead.

Soul Calibur
-This guild has no specific allignment. Since the guild is composed of strong fighters, you, also, must be pretty strong to join (200+ HP, 11+ all skills except MA/Spell Casting). This guild has died because the leader joined the Blades of Urdual.

-The guild serves powerful lords of fear and despair. Only by joining The guild can you save yourself from destruction. The guild obviously embraces the ways of Chaos. There is also a ranking system in effect.

The Pirates of Dreadwind
-The FMU and the PoE merged together to create this guild. The former PoE leader is now the leader of this guild, tPoD, and the former FMU leader is second-in-charge. This guild follows the way of Chaos, occasionally destroying everything in their path. However, tPoD has also been known to help people - for a certain price. This guild has a very advancd ranking system.

Wildfire Legion
-The Wildfire Legion is a guild that follows the ways of Chaos. Although the members of the Wildfire Legion aren't forced to worship Torkalath it isn't bad if they do so anyway. This guild used to consist of fallen Elves only (Elves led to the ways of Chaos by Torkalath himself) but in need of more members the doors were opened to the public. This is a dead guild.

GUILD FACTS:
-As I stated above, The King's Best are now the Knights of the Black Moon.
-The Dark Elves of Torkalath, Darktide and the Wildfire Legion have formed an alliance a long time ago which they named the Dark Alliance.
-The Dark Elves of Torkalath were (and maybe still are) at war with the Elves of Forest Croth.
-Hearts of Valor and Valor are allies.
-The Blades of Urdual and the Dark Elves of Torkalath nearly got in a war with each other once.
-Maldora's Minions is a dead guild.
-The Blades of Urdual are allied with the Knights of the Black Moon.
-Evaan used to be the leader of Valor, but when the Hearts of Valor came around he decided to become their leader. Christopher became Valor's new leader.
-If you speak of "The Dark Elves of Forest Croth" you didn't read this post... don't confuse DEoT and EoFC.

Obviously if you are trying to be a good lil guild, being friends with pirates well isn't all that favorable, however if you are chaotic to the point where your in trouble and you need help and your willing to look to the chaotic side of things to find that boost in power, then reforming the alliance could be a good thing
