In an effort to catagorize this mess, I suppose.

Granted, I only have one bug to report, myself:

Changelog:
Text box wouldn't widen after typing past it

Well, yeah, that was a minor aesthetic bug at best... Now we can't type more than 16 characters - which is a bit of an issue - epseically of a game with any hope of roleplaying... Please go back to the old text box code. (And fix that font! - breaking my neck looking at the laptop to read text now.)

D.Drew reports losing a lot of stuff, but I doubt it's the client.dll - maybe Fuznet not porting properly between the 5711 and 5710 servers.

New one, although not so much a bug, as an issue.

A lot of "old-skool" players actually use the +strafe option - for the dramatic effect of looking around corners, darting back, etc. I've actually run into two or three players who claim they can't hardly play without it, as it's what they always use for short strafes.

I dunno if wanking with the controls of some old skool players is worth whatever benifit comes from preventing sit&slide sploit...

I mean, do you get anything from the sit&slide sploit besides looking silly?

If not, I suggest we restore the +strafe option... or find a way of nerfing the sit&slide that doesn't mess with some player's styles.

That isn't a real issue... Couldn't "run" around in anycase - sit&slide pretty slow and rough on the wrist to travel any real distance. Plus the heal effect is so minimal after a certain level it's almost nil. Dun think it's worth it to mess with the five players who've complained to me and/or thanked me for rolling back the DLL - two of which apparently weren't aware of the sploit.

pretty sure you could still double tap forwards to get runing speed before doing it...

in any case, the +strafe command just needs to be disabled while sitting...somehow :\

If they can disable movement with regular keys don't see any reason why you couldn't with +strafe also
