Ah yes! The stone skeletons of Nashalrath! I knew they still existed!

...what?

Nashalrath is the demon bludgeon capital that sank underground after malgoriand was defeated, i have two possibilities on the entrance, the buiding close to calrian where the bridge is broken or a door in challs

Oye thothie!

I'm closing on my last archery level before going melee again and.....

I seem to do more damage with iron arrows than I do with Jagged... (lvl 24)
40-70 w/ iron
35-50 w/ jagged
if it's not too troubling can you check up on this?

I think we should keep protection for SC. Lots of people healed me when I was fighting so I think its only right.

I know it might be hard but there is always a way to do anything

You realize those 2 things have nothing to do with eachother, right?

People healing you:

1. Doesn't get them exp
2. Would go to divination if it did

There are no working protection spells (Ice shield doesn't train it), so why not axe it?

We're kinda stuck in the D&D system, where if ya don't kill something, ya don't get no XP.

Too bad we're not a Storyteller game or we could get XP for "overcoming our personal obsticals", "finding our inner child", "roleplaying flaws through interpersonal relationships", and "taking the game in a new and unexpected direction." [/oxygen channel RPG]

Uh, who? I don't believe we have a nerd sitting behind a cardboard screen watching all the MS:C players.

Won't it be possible to reward divination XP for healing? I mean, that's also damage the spell does. Negative damage, but damage. Won't it be possible?
PS: I am also pro removing protection.

Ah, ye. That's a thing I also noticed: getting experience for inflicting damage instead after a kill would help alot.
Is it even possible?

thats how it was handled in 1.35, but it lead to ubar cheatmaps...thats why its like this right now...

people made trigger_hurt things to heal themselves and the monsters continually, then got xp for each hit, and just kept swingin

yeah, but it also stops people from being level 1 archery and finding a troll in the bottom of a ravine and getting a bunch of xp for hitting it ;)

It's more due to the obvious exploit - I'll go swing at something a few times and then run far, far away. ;)
