Why dont you try to make a dungeon, like in those zelda games?(separate room, puzzles,etc)

The map was already frelling HUGE when he started; he's waaay out of hand now. Maybe on his next map, he can go Zelda on your arse.

Oddly enough yes - you must have made this request before, and I stuck it in there.

He fires the event " make_bear " when he tells the players about it.

Find me music!

Rules:

Must have no words
Must actually fit the rest of the ingame music
If you make it its better
Don't get me sued kthxbai ;)

Guidelines:

This music is for the outside of the bloodrose mountains...it should not be overwhelming, and it should create a sort of eerie atmosphere - as if something is wrong, but you dont know what.


(i have the voice acts now, i'll be clipping them and sending to thothie)

what all would you require? for i know nothing of music, except how it sounds ;)

i can also get you a copy of the (now almost complete) map to look around, if you'd like.

Lanethan...What program are you using to compose your music? I'm usin Finale and I can't get it to sound more like real instruments, as opposed to something out of a NES game.

I used finale for awhile then gave up. I can't seem to find a program that sounds real, either :p

hmmm...i think i'll add a few things to venevus's chamber while the patch grows nearer.

truth be told i have a compile that can almost work as a final release...with a bit of ripent...but i've yet to make my logo and such, so eh. i'll give you guys a bit of a chance with venevus/atolo i guess...

To answer some questions brought up earlier:

I use a Korg Triton workstation as my base development machine, using sequencers (FL Studio) and loop-based programs (ACID) whenever I see fit. Occaisionally I dip into other programs, but I haven't had much need for that in the MS soundtrack.

I've got a first stage work in progress ready, but its rather empty at the moment. I've been following something in the style of that music linked above... sounds more like film soundtrack than the other MS music, but that should be okay. Most of the original MS music harkens back to the old SNES era RPGs, so this is a style change. But it sounds pretty neato. Plus you said subtle.
