yes, yes you will....and i've tried to get thothie to give him divine immunity, but he says he wont :(

but really, he shouldn't be affected by divine - he was born "here" and he hasnt died "here"...just not the nicest guy around...

i've not decided on the lewt...the volcano swords you see my test characters running around with are there because i put spawns of future weapons in maps during locked betas to make sure the monsters wont be easily overpowered in the near future.

plus, theres a screenshot on moddb...i havent dont much in the last few days (was studying for things)

this *might* be done next month, but it likely wont be released on the first (unless i dont go to netwar this weekend).

of course, that also depends on thothie getting things into the patch and giving the script names to me...



Large Stone Skeletons
Dont really need ubar slimes, just some stone skeleton varieties
-Standing (normal size) skeletons
-More powerful versions of petrified paladins
Bludgeon (requires Gaz aswell)
Elves (merc and mage, NEED the mage [triggers event "ms_snow_open" if player hp over 300])
Orochi sez remove those heras thingies from the envenomed/flesheater minions

Eh.. Hmm... Don't actually have a model for that ATM. I can add the skin to the big bois model, but Orochi all ready yelled at me quite a lot for altering his models. ;) Do you want the type that sits still until triggered by a special temporary invisible NPC?

I'll try to setup a stone skeleton series... Running out of names for skeletons though. ;)

I assume you don't need the current one working better. (I can make him a more effective combantant but keep the comic jumping, and that's a task that's been put off more times than I care to count.)

I see this buckle he speaks of, I wasn't aware it was the official Heras emblem (or that Heras had an official emblem, for that matter). ;) - I'll see what I can do.... Kinda like the boots though. Shame our new smart skeles don't have a clothes selection. Jeeze, all this decompiling is rough on the models though. Gaz gave me the source for his changes, so maybe I can undo the skew it causes.

At the moment I'm trying to get the model consolidation to work right, turning out to be quite a bit more of a bitch than I first suspected. Seems I can't make a central script to handle the model indexing afterall. I'm going to have to make an actual application to handle it instead.

much studying going on at the moment, midterms...speeches...etc...

i have spring break next week - so i should be able to finish up, assuming that nice little talky "monster" for the large stone skeleton area is up and working properly...trap doesn't exactly work without it...

(also. since i'm mean. thothie - i dont remember reading about the talking piece of that trap being done, so if possible...add a nice little 450hp requirement to answering correctly, explained by the low level characters being intimidated by the large skeletons about to crush them into little bits.)

Oh umm.. err... Better PM me again about the talking element... I just made your skeletons and the ability to turn them on/off.

I've always wanted to make that into a script. ;)

if you really want to use that one, you can put that in, and i'll add a bridge...maybe vomica can make a skary model bridge :p

also...i've neglected asking this for quite a while....why is this map called bloodrose o_O

i see no roses! (and before i got it, not much blood)

I think it's cause it's a valley, shaped like a rose, and there's a lot of blood in it after the players pass through. ;)

erm...well...i've gone through the trouble of requesting rediculously complicated scripts from thothie...and making it rediculously bigger than it already was...so much that it gets errors if i dont use special compile options...and its grids lag me...

beta later >_> stay in populated servers, thats where i get my lackeys (i mean...beta testers...) from.

progress has occured:

Village is no longer nice-looking from outside.
Skeletons will not be confined to the buildings in the village.
Redid venevus's minions area based on how the test yesterday went.
Added teleporter to venevus's minion area XD (so you're not stuck down there FOREVAR!)

Left to do:

Add new slithar/get working properly
Add FX to venevus's area
Add venevus to venevus's area
Add atholo to venevus's area
Wonder if atholo is pwnage enough...
Add venevus's minions
Add slithars minions
Finish slithars caves (one final room left)
FREAKIN BEAR...i forgot to re add his cave.. >_>
